Who We Are
Family First Myanmar exists to strengthen families in Myanmar. We believe every human being is of infinite worth, and the best place to discover this is within the family. We believe that strong, healthy families are the cornerstone of civilization. We believe every family can be happier, stronger, and more united.
What We Do
Social Media
A weekly talk show discussing recent news and cases in Myanmar. Families gain a new perspective on current events and reflect on lessons to build a better family.
ToT Training
We train those that have a passion in helping fathers and mothers to have stronger families. We started initially in Yangon and are extending this to other regions in Myanmar.
Seminars & Webinars
Since the Covid-19 pandemic, these have been mostly “Father’s Zoominars”, held twice a month, for free. Guest speakers give valuable insights to build up fathers and mothers.
Family Research
We plan to survey family behaviors, such as relationships between husband and wife, parents and children etc. This will be done with permission of the corresponding Government ministry.
Book Translation
In 2018, we translated and published a New York Times’ Best seller book, ‘Be A Better Dad Today’, written by author Gregory W. Slayton, into Myanmar language.
